Those two offer a local history of an out-of-the-way place, Manitou Springs, Colorado, USA. It's a little witchy haven from it's large, conservative neighbor to the east, Colorado Springs - which is the birthplace of Lon Chaney, Sr., and where Elvira, the Mistress of the Dark, attended high school.
